The Evans City Council declared by unanimous vote on April 21 a drought emergency in the City of Evans. In order to make the best, most efficient use of precious water resources, outdoor watering restrictions are in place and will be enforced in accordance with the Evans Municipal Code. What's Happening
Heritage Day will begin at City Park on Saturday morning with the parade and free pancake breakfast, followed by amusements, food trucks, and local vendors throughout the park. Beginning at 8:30am, a 5K fun run/walk to raise funds for Canine Community Heroes, a nonprofit that helps train and support service and therapy dogs in Northern Colorado. Details can be found here.
The evening portion of the event will consist of the beer and spirits garden, food trucks, amusements, and live music at Riverside Park. The night will end with the crowd-favorite fireworks extravaganza!
Please come out and join us in celebrating our city's rich history and vibrant culture as we honor and showcase the heritage that has shaped Evans into the beloved city it is today.
